Expand disk space on Openfiler

Recently,my P2P function fail due to the space is not enough. The space is not hard disk. I use Openfiler installed on virtual machine to assign iSCSI Lun for OS. So do that the OS can mount iSCSI disk after VM boot.

How to know the present disk space by Openfiler interface? By following order, you can know disk space and it did show me "no enough space" now.

Before adding VM disk,I need to confirm What disk size need to be added. I hope the same volume group own the same disk size.

After adding VM disk, whether the system can know exist new disk right now? This is that don't need to reboot it!
By searching the related information, I find out the following command can satisfy  this condition.
I just know this step is for Openfiler install on the VMWare workstation. I am not sure whether it can suit the Openfiler install on the practice machine directly. This process never is confirmed.

After doing the above command, the openfiler did find out the new disk.

Next step, let me begin to add new disk to volume group now by clicking the hyperlink /dev/sdk.

At first, we need to set a disk partition size to create new physical volume. I will assign the full disk for new physical volume.

.

Based on volume group interface, I want to add new physical volume to this volume group so that click the hyperlink "Add PVs".

Now, you will see the new disk. Let use enable check box and submit it.

Back to the fist step, you will see the disk space is extend now.

Although, the Openfiler system has already added new disk successfully. But we need to do something on iSCSI initiator. Otherwise, you will see the space still never expand by disk management.

By windows 7 built-in extend function, you will be easy to expand the disk space now.

Now, I have enough disk space and continue to use P2P function.
